Residential condominiums are today’s new bywords for luxury living in an urban setting. Developers boldly promise a luxury lifestyle through their banners and billboards. However, just because it has a large price tag doesn’t mean it has a cache of prestige as well.

With that in mind, here are the top seven rarefied residential projects that have climbed to the top of our radar.

Developed by the same people behind Discovery Suites in Ortigas and the award-winning Discovery Shores in Boracay, developer JTKC Land has created an exclusive space for those with discerning taste.

From the 4th to 15th floors, Discovery Primea offers luxury serviced residences with its own entrance, lobby, and elevator system. Above this, you have a limited number of signature residents. Only 90 owners will be privileged enough to become a part of this development. This is because there are only a maximum of two units for each of its 47 floors.

The building also offers hotel-level service and amenities like 24-hour concierge service, valet and limousine, in-house catering and chef on-demand, swimming pools, fitness centers, and even its own executive butler and helipad. And because they offer hotel-level services, they promise to have hotel-trained personnel to answer your needs.

It’s generally known that prestige has an address in Makati City. This is because East Gallery Place will have six distinctive residential concepts. These range from the classic one- to four-bedroom units to the Flex formats (spaces free of interior partitions so they can be configured to studio or one- to two-bedroom units). Last but not least, Rockwell Land is adding another jewel to its crown at the Rockwell area with The Proscenium—a five-tower residential community designed by the world-renowned Uruguayan architect Carlos Ott. “Proscenium” means “in front of the scenery,” which is why the development’s hosting of a 600-seat theater for cultural performances is certain to raise the Rockwell lifestyle to a whole different level.

The first tower, Kirov, will have 203 units and each floor will only hold three to four units. This will be composed of 188 three-bedroom units and 15 penthouses that are also three-bedroom units but with a spacious den.
