8 Forbestown Road

I wouldn't recommend purchasing or renting here - even though I live here. The elevators in this building have been poorly serviced for several years now - there is always at least 1-2 elevators out of order and often residents are waiting 15-30minutes to get an elevator. In the last 3 months on at least two occasions, all elevators were not working at the same time - this was not a planned maintenance event - this was the system havingproblems. Don't underestimate how bad the elevator situation is at this building. Another this is that aircons in every unit leak - we've talked to basically dozens of other tenants and they all have the same problem - which is that after a certain amount of time, the aircon pools liquid and starts to leak. The other thing which is terrible is that there is often smell coming from the pipes - which is a sign of poor engineering and design - typicaly of this developer. The pedestrian entrance and exit to the lobby is so narrow and poorly designed and it constantly smells like dog pee - cause they allow dogs to pee on the footpath leading to the main road.

This building is within the burgos circle area, one of the Prime projects of Megaworld in BGC, very accessible to grocery,restaurants and offices. The amenities are nice plus you get a view of Manila Golf Course. The building is also a pet friendly.

I viewed this building and I am totally bowled over by it. Unbelievably good views both over the golf course and the Bonifacio skyline. The pool area is so nice and there are some really quiet and shaded areas. Minutes from shops, bars and restaurants and some nice areas to walk around (safely, as this is a well laid out area). Everything is right on the door step but i cant see myself doing anything but lounging by the pool and shopping in the vacinity.

It is very close to Burgos Circle, which is a very popular spot in BGC, and most importantly walking distance to business offices of some of the biggest financial company firms in the world. This is perfect location for an expat working in the of those BGC business offices. It is a very brand new construction. The view of the Manila Golf Course is great. This is something a golf aficionado will definitely appreciate. The quality of construction is good. The amenities in the 7th floor is good. The view is amazing from all sides. I think the somewhat hidden from public entrance, which is at the back of the building facing the golf course, will appeal to those who value their privacies. The high end Robinsons Selection, Starbucks, Ace Hardware, Nail Spa add to the convenience. This location will appeal to folks who value privacy and being away from the traffic and hustle and bustle of the Market Market, SM Aura section of BGC.

I took a tour the other day looking the buy or rent and the place felt very much like a mall/hotel. There's a shopping center in the lower levels and a big plus is there's a new much needed grocery store. However, the lobby feels hidden behind the building and it seems to be quite an obstacle to get in and out. Ideally I'd like to be situated in a place where access in and out is convenient. The building is new so I the build quality seems luxurious. The unit layouts didn't seem to be too big. There's an infinity style pool and well equipped gym on the 7th floor overlooking the golf course.
