A Historic, Progressive City
From a small residential community to a booming commercial center, Pasig City has certainly come a long way. Established in 1572, this former, underrated municipality was created by the Augustinians, making it the third oldest areas in Metro Manila. In 1975, it became a component town of the National Capital region and officially became a city in 1994.

Some notable agencies and corporations found here include the Integrated Bar of the Philippines, San Miguel Corporation, Meralco, and the Department of Education. You can drop by the remaining authentic, antique houses such as Bahay na Tisa and the Guanio Residence, which is also called the Cuartel del Guardia Civil.
