Located strategically along Pioneer Street in Mandaluyong City, Pioneer Pointe Condominium is midway between the Makati and Ortigas CBDs—indeed ideal especially if the goal is to invest in a peaceful address that’s just a stone’s throw away from restaurants, cafes, malls, offices, hotels, schools, hospitals, and major thoroughfares.
Providing 110 studio units, 75 two-level, two-bedroom suites, and commercial spaces with floor areas that range from 30 to 120 square meters, future residents are guaranteed maximized space and freedom of mobility. Marrying comfort and practicality, homeowners are treated to building features that include a swimming pool, a function room with pantry and kitchenette, a play area, two levels of office spaces, a sun deck, two high-speed elevators, and 24-hour security.
The price per sqm for the amenities is quite high considering the lack of amenities. The pool is quite small and does not seem very clean nor well maintained. The security however are very kind. I'm glad there are sites like this to help us compare the price of association dues.
Bought this property for the location (15-30 mins away from Makati and QC, 5 mins away from Ortigas) and its future value considering all the new projects, malls and businesses opening in the area (Capitol Commons, Greenfield, TV5 and Robinsons Cybergate). The condo also has some units with their own staircase from the hallway which provides more privacy and less noise from your neighbors. Downside is dealing with high association dues considering the lack of good amenities, limited parking for guests, and resitrictions for pets and gas cooking.
