Parañaque – Metro Manila's Gateway to the
South
From its beginnings as a fishing town between Manila Bay and Laguna de
Bay, Parañaque is now fast becoming a destination of choice for those
who work in Metro Manila and its neighboring provinces.
This bustling city is serviced by many modes of transportation, such as
major highways, the Light Railway Transit (LRT), and the Ninoy Aquino
International Airport, one of whose terminals is located inside city
limits. It is also a major crossroads for commuters and motorists
coming from the Cavite-Laguna-Rizal-Quezon (CALABARZON) area.
A Great Place for Work and Play
Parañaque and its nearby cities form a burgeoning commercial and
industrial zone that is fast catching up to the established business
centers in terms of growth. Sucat, in particular, is home to various
businesses, while the airport area has become a logistics hub for the
ASEAN region. A few minutes' drive from the city is the rising Santa
Rosa-San Pedro zone that is home to industrial parks and is projected
to be the manufacturing capital of the South in the near future.
Various commercial establishments have also set up shop in the city. SM
has branches in Sucat and nearby Bicutan, while SM Mall of Asia is just
a short drive away. Entertainment opportunities abound in Parañaque;
the reclamation area, for instance, is home to hotels and casinos such
as City of Dreams Manila, Resorts World, and Solaire Resort &
Casino.
Parañaque has also long been a residential center. Thousands of
families call BF Homes Parañaque, one of the largest subdivisions in
Asia, home. Condominium buildings have also sprouted along major
highways such as SLEX and Roxas Boulevard, giving prospective residents
a lot of options if they plan to relocate to the area.
Renting a Condo in Parañaque
Given its status as the gateway to the rest of southern Luzon, it is no wonder that people are flocking to Parañaque. Prospective tenants can find a place to rent, with monthly rates ranging from P3,500 to P150,000. Standard amenities include 24/7 security and available parking; many of the higher-end units include swimming pools and a great view of Manila Bay.
